We are excited to be the first multinational company to make its public cloud platform technologies generally available from inside China with our public launch of Windows Azure, operated by 21Vianet.  This accomplishment was made possible through a unique partnership between Microsoft and 21Vianet, one of the largest Internet service providers in China, who operates and sells the Windows Azure service in China.  Windows Azure, operated by 21Vianet, is based on the same technology as Microsoft’s global Windows Azure service and offers a reliable, flexible and value-based service to bring Microsoft’s latest cloud technologies and benefits to Chinese customers and propel forward technological development in China as a whole.
