The Bing Search API is now available on the Windows Azure Marketplace! With this service, you can embed web, image, news, and video search results, as well as related searches and spelling suggestions, to create unique applications and services.

You can also integrate information from datasets into your own applications via standardized data services, and analyze the data online by using the Service Explorer tool, PowerPivot in Microsoft Excel, and a growing number of other tools.

Over the past several years, the Bing Search API has powered a growing number of unique applications and services. Now, by combining the API with the Windows Azure Marketplace’s capabilities, developers and ISVs will have access to a powerful set of tools for creating and distributing applications. In addition, on the Windows Azure Marketplace you can access hundreds of other datasets and APIs including Microsoft Translator, which launched on the Marketplace last September.

Get Started

Starting today, you can access two Bing Search API offerings on the Marketplace:

The Bing Search API is available for free on the marketplace for up to 5,000 queries per month. Paid subscriptions are available for users with more than 5,000 queries per month. Learn more about pricing and subscriptions on the marketplace details pages.

As an introductory offer, we are providing a free limited time trial for any Bing Search API subscription tier. See details for this special offer on the Bing Search API page and Bing Search API – Web Results Only page. We encourage you to take advantage of the trial to test the API and determine what query volume works best for your application or service.

High volume users, who need more queries per month than what is listed on the Marketplace, should submit a request to onboard through a separate process.
