As more and more enterprises begin to see value from IoT and digital transformation, many businesses still need help building the necessary digital capabilities. That’s where our partners truly shine. Azure IoT Central brings the simplicity of SaaS for IoT so partners can focus on delivering the business value to their customers, no cloud expertise required. Today, at Inspire 2018, we are adding several features that provide an easy avenue to partner types across the IoT ecosystem to benefit from IoT.

Since entering public preview IoT Central has implemented a number of new features, capabilities, and usability improvements. Features made available today make it easy for partners to resell, manage and extend customer solutions.

Azure IoT Central now available in Azure CSP

Azure IoT Central now supports Azure CSP subscriptions. Leverage the power of CSP to add managed services and have end-to-end ownership of the customer lifecycle and relationship for Microsoft Azure. Partners are empowered to manage sales, own the billing relationship, provide technical and billing support and be the customers' single point of contact. In addition, CSP provides a full set of tools including a self-service portal and accompanying APIs to easily provision, manage and provide billing for their customers and subscriptions. Once Azure IoT Central applications are created, they can be managed just like any other Azure IoT Central applications. To learn more, please visit the Azure IoT Central CSP documentation.

Enable powerful workflows and new scenarios including Connected Field Service

Help customers reduce costly scheduled maintenance by proactively detecting and resolving issues remotely by enabling powerful scenarios like Connected Field Service. The Microsoft Flow connector enabling you to create workflows that are triggered when an alert is fired.  Drag and drop actions from hundreds of other systems in the library of published connectors. Create a new work order in Dynamics 365 Field Service, send a message using Twilio SMS, send a message to a Microsoft Teams channel. These are just a few examples of what you can do in Flow. Unlocking data from IoT Central for deeper insights

Get the data from your IoT devices whether you want to enable predictive maintenance scenario with Azure Machine Learning, gain deeper insights about your data or simply store the data for future retrieval. With continuous data export to Azure Storage, your data is unlocked for your use. You will receive device measurements, devices information, and device template information in Apache Avro format periodically. To learn more, please visit continuous data export documentation.

Power BI solution template

IoT payoff is linked to the insights you get from analyzing the data Power BI can give you a very quick, flexible, and powerful way to analyze and display the data generated from virtually any IoT device. See your IoT data in Power BI! Get information on how many measurements have been sent, which devices are most active, see your historical data and analyze the long-term trends of the data your devices have collected, all in a Power BI dashboard.
