Azure Database for MySQL support for MySQL 8.0 is in preview

Azure Database for MySQL now provides preview support for the latest major version of MySQL, version 8.0. Major enhancements in MySQL 8.0 include a variety of improvements associated with the data dictionary, atomic data definition statements (atomic DDL), the upgrade procedure, and security and account management, as well as several other performance enhancements.
