Standard streaming endpoints and Azure Content Delivery Network integration
Date de mise à jour : lundi 15 mai 2017
Azure Media Services will have a new option called a standard streaming endpoint. It will eliminate the complexity of streaming endpoints by giving you the scale and robustness you need without making you worry about streaming units. Behind the scenes, we'll monitor the bandwidth requirements on your streaming endpoint and scale out as needed. This means you'll be able to use a standard streaming endpoint to deliver your streams to a large range of audience sizes, from very small audiences to thousands of concurrent viewers, by using the integration of Azure Content Delivery Network services.
With a single click, you'll be able to integrate all the available Content Delivery Network providers (Akamai and Verizon) to your streaming endpoint, including their standard and premium products. You'll be able to manage and configure all the related features through the Azure portal. When Content Delivery Network is enabled for a streaming endpoint through Azure Media Services, data transfer charges between the streaming endpoint and Content Delivery Network won't apply. Transferred data will instead be charged at the Content Delivery Network edge, using CDN pricing.
