MariaDB with Replication
MariaDB is a community-developed fork of the MySQL relational database management system. MariaDB intends to maintain high compatibility with MySQL, ensuring a "drop-in" replacement capability with library binary equivalency and exact matching with MySQL APIs and commands. It includes the XtraDB storage engine replacing InnoDB, as well as a new storage engine, Aria.
This solution uses multiple VMs, 4 nodes by default, to provide a horizontally scalable and fault tolerant deployment. Data automatically replicates from the primary node to all other nodes.
Advantages of Using a Bitnami Solution:

- Consistent: All apps and dev environments are packaged and configured consistently across operating systems.
- Free of charge: Only pay for Azure consumption resources. Bitnami solutions are made available at no additional cost.
