The cloud represents a tremendous business opportunity for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Systems Integrators (SIs).  To help them better understand the business opportunities with the Windows Azure Platform and position themselves for success, we’ve created the Windows Azure Platform University.  The goal of the University is to provide in-depth sales-focused readiness training with a full day of training sessions designed to help partners:

  • Understand the Cloud market space and Microsoft’s strategy to win
  • Develop important business relationships with Microsoft field, Microsoft marketers, and other Microsoft Partners
  • Secure Microsoft resources, tools and support to help you grow your business with the Windows Azure Platform

The ISV track will focus on the three key cloud-computing scenarios where Windows Azure Platform can help ISVs augment their current business.  Attendees will come away with a basic understanding of the technical underpinnings of SaaS on the Windows Azure Platform, and learn about the resources and tools available to help them grow their business.

The SI track will explain how SIs can become trusted advisers to their enterprise customers as they embark on a journey to the cloud. Additionally attendees will learn about an end-to-end methodology, business case, and migration plan as a part of performing cloud assessments.  The agenda also includes an overview of the recommended staffing model to start a migration practice, as well as the potential partner revenue opportunity.

There are eleven University events worldwide, please register now for the session that works best for you.   If you need more information or have a question, please email us at Windows Azure Platform University.
