During his session yesterday at EclipseCon 2011, Vijay Rajagopalan unveiled the March 2011 Community Technology Preview (CTP) of the Windows Azure Plugin for Eclipse with Java. Available for download here, this new new plugin is an open source project released under the Apache 2.0 license that will provide Java developers with a simple way to build and deploy web applications for Windows Azure.  You can read all about this new plugin in the blog post, “New plugin for Eclipse to get Java developers off the ground with Windows Azure”, on the Interoperability @ Microsoft blog.
