Continuing on strategy to provide hybrid cloud business continuity solutions for any customers  we are proud to announce our new capabilities unlocking new scenarios for service providers opening new pipeline for service providers to generate additional revenues.

ASR integration with Windows Azure Pack: ASR/WAP integration opens new pipeline for service providers to generate additional revenues from their existing customers by offering Managed DR services on top of IaaS workloads. Simple to setup, it allows you to provide DR capabilities while requiring few configuration changes and user training. As part of update roll up of Windows Azure Pack UR 4.0, now cloud service providers will be able to offer Windows Azure Pack Plan or ADDONS with ASR capabilities. The WAP deployment guide can help you with more details to get started.

PowerShell support for Azure Site Recovery: Since our first release, our customers have asked for an automatable interface for the ASR capabilities. Today we are happy to announce that we are able to respond to your request and now have the ASR PowerShell cmdlets for recovery solution between two on-premise hyper-V datacenters available as part of Azure PowerShell 0.8.10 release . This release will open up opportunities for cloud service providers to extend their own user portal to provide DR operations such as protection and failovers. We acknowledge that capability to automate the ASR operation is key to service provider scenarios and we will continue to invest and enhance our PowerShell interface. If you have other top of the mind requests that you would like to see show up in ASR, please submit your feedback via ASR User Voice.
