Azure Backup supports the latest Windows Server operating systems such as Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2. Azure Backup now extends the service to protect Windows Server 2008 64-bit operating systems as well. Azure Backup allows backup on-premises Windows Server 2008 servers to Azure for long term in an efficient and secure way. Azure Backup also allows seamless integration with the System Center Data Protection Manager to provide application aware backups from Windows Server 2008.
