We are taking a look at the preview of a maintenance control feature for platform updates on Azure Dedicated Host and Isolated virtual machines. Using this feature customers can take control of host updates for a period of 35-days in a rolling window. At public preview we are making CLI, PowerShell, APIs available. Portal will come later.

The preview of incremental snapshots of Azure managed disks is now available. Incremental snapshots are a cost-effective point-in-time backup of managed disks. Unlike current snapshots, which are billed for the full size, incremental snapshots are billed for the delta changes to disks since the last snapshot.
