Event Hubs Capture (formerly Archive) is now Generally Available

miércoles, 28 de junio de 2017

Azure Event Hubs Capture is now generally available. This key Event Hubs feature (which was released in public preview as Event Hubs Archive), gives you access to near real-time streams, making it possible to package and transport millions of events per second for further processing. It is designed to combine both batch and near-real-time streams, so you don’t need to construct separate data pipelines.

Event Hubs Auto-Inflate, take control of your scale

lunes, 12 de junio de 2017

Azure Event Hubs new auto-inflate lets you automatically scale-up the number of Throughput Units (TUs) on an Event Hubs namespace to meet usage needs. This feature prevents throttling when data ingress rates exceed set Throughput Units or when data egress rates exceed set TUs.

Azure Event Hubs Archive is now in public preview, providing efficient micro-batch processing

miércoles, 14 de septiembre de 2016

Of the many key scenarios for Event Hubs, are long term data archival and downstream micro-batch processing. Customers typically use compute (Event Processor Host/Event Receivers) or Stream Analytics jobs to perform these archival or batch processing tasks. These along with other custom downstream solutions involve significant overhead with regards to scheduling and managing batch jobs. Why not have something out-of-the-box that solves this problem? Well, look no further – there’s now a lovely, nifty feature called Event Hubs Archive!
