The Azure Big Compute and HPC teams will be speaking at this year’s Build 2016 and NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference the week after. We’ll demonstrate the compute and visualization capabilities of our upcoming GPU virtual machines and how they enable desktop application acceleration and rich user experiences from Azure.

Build is Microsoft’s annual developer conference. We’ll be on the Main Stage in the expo hall on March 31 at 12:55 pm PDT. We’ll showcase industry-driven scenarios with NVIDIA K80 and M60 GPU’s. Our partner, Teradici, will be on hand to demonstrate high-resolution engineering applications using their PCoIP technology over the Internet from Azure.

At NVIDIA’s GTC conference on April 6, we will be showing the performance and scalability of Microsoft’s open source Computational Network Toolkit (CNTK) running on NVIDIA GPUs. This software developed by Microsoft Research is the AI power behind products like Skype Translator. It’s a great example of the speed possible for machine learning using GPUs.

We’re excited about this new capability coming soon to Azure, and want to share some of the work we’ve been doing with partners to get things ready.

See you there!
