Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) authentication allows you to authenticate to Cognitive Services using Azure AD or user principals. This capability provides greater flexibility for managing access to Cognitive Services and makes it easier to use existing policies for credential rotation and to enforce custom password standards.
Azure Files Active Directory (Azure AD) authentication with Azure AD domain services is now generally available
Azure Files offers fully managed file shares in the cloud that are accessible via the industry standard SMB protocol. Integration with Azure AD enables SMB access to Azure file shares using Azure AD credentials from Azure AD domain services domain joined Windows VMs.
Now you can authenticate Stream Analytics egress to Azure Blob Storage using managed identities.
Azure Domains are now generally available with 100,000 topics per domain.
NSG service tag for Azure Backup aims to ease the process of running backups in an environment locked down using NSGs. With this, you now have the option to simply use the ‘AzureBackup’ tag to allow outbound access to Azure Backup for your workload (SQL server) agent running inside the VM, instead of managing whitelisting of required IPs.
Azure Cosmos DB now provides a new RBAC role: Cosmos DB Operator. This new role lets you provision Azure Cosmos accounts, databases, and containers, but can’t access the keys that are required to access the data.
Passwords for accounts created in Azure AD can now be up to 256 characters including spaces.
Workload Management Classification and Importance provide the ability to influence the run order of queries.
We’re bringing all the capabilities of global Azure Active Directory B2C service to China, with added benefits.

Azure Active Directory activity logs integration with Diagnostics Logs for Azure Monitor and Log Analytics in Azure Monitor

In the Sprint 150 Update of Azure DevOps, we added the ability to manage billing for your organization within our portal.
We are changing our Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) sign-in behavior to make room for new authentication methods and improve usability. During sign-in, Azure AD determines where a user needs to authenticate. Azure AD makes intelligent decisions by reading organization and user settings for the username entered on the sign-in page. This is a step towards a password-free future that enables additional credentials like FIDO 2.0.
Target availability: Q2 2019
We're updating the Microsoft 365 sign-in page for Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) to add a new sign-in options link. This link will be added only to sign-in pages that accept personal Microsoft accounts.
The Azure AD B2C service will no longer charge for "Stored Users" starting April 1, 2019, to lower the cost of managing consumer identities.
The identity experience framework orchestration platform of Microsoft Azure Active Directory B2C (Azure AD B2C) is now available
Craft custom policies and user flows for identity (for example, sign-in, sign-up, profile edit, password reset) in consumer and e-commerce applications with the identity experience framework orchestration platform of Microsoft Azure Active Directory B2C (Azure AD B2C)
