Azure Backup locally redundant storage (LRS) and geo-redundant storage (GRS) data stored meter ID changes
Effective September 1, 2020, the meter IDs of Azure Backup—LRS and GRS data stored will change in the ZA West and ZA North regions.

Azure Backup now supports exclude-disk functionality where you get an option to backup one or a few from the many data disks in a VM. Each recovery point contains data of the disks included in the backup operation, which further allows you to have a subset of disks restored from the given recovery point during the restore operation. This provides an efficient and cost-effective solution for your backup and restore needs.
Azure Backup now provides soft delete for SQL Server in Azure Virtual Machines and SAP HANA in Azure Virtual Machines workloads along with the already supported Azure Virtual Machines soft delete scenario.
