Azure Monitor Data Collection API Retirement 

Target retirement date: September 18, 2026

Support for Data Collector API feature is being discontinued. This feature allowed users to ingest custom logs into Log Analytics workspaces. DCR-based Log Ingestion API now provides similar capabilities with added flexibility of data transformation and support of secure authentication methods.
