Azure Stack HCI with accelerated AI and machine learning
Target availability: Q2 2020
Deploy accelerated AI cloud workloads and your own business logic, as well as other Azure services, to run on Azure Stack HCI via standard containers by using GPUs with Azure IoT Edge. This is done by using an NVIDIA graphics processing unit (GPU) with Azure Stack HCI using discrete device assignment (DDA) technology and running Azure IoT Edge in an Ubuntu virtual machine.
Azure Sphere update 20.03 is now available
New Azure Sphere update 20.03, which includes enhancements and bug fixes in the Azure Sphere OS, is now available in the retail feed.
Flatcar Container Linux available in Azure Marketplace
Flatcar Container Linux by Kinvolk is now available in the Azure Marketplace. Flatcar is an immutable Linux distribution for containers, and a compatible fork of CoreOS Container Linux.
[Updated] Action Required—Log Analytics agent for Windows will enforce SHA-2 signing on Aug 17, 2020
Target availability: Q3 2020
The Log Analytics agent for Windows, sometimes known as the OMS Windows agent or Microsoft Monitoring agent, will begin to enforce SHA-2 signing on Aug. 17, 2020. This change only requires action if you are running the agent on a legacy OS version (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2008).
Azure Sphere 20.03 update now available for compatibility testing
The Azure Sphere 20.03 release is now available via the retail evaluation feed, which is meant for backwards compatibility testing. Use it to verify production-signed applications against the new release before it's deployed broadly via the retail feed.
