Server-level collations in Managed Instance are globally available
Azure SQL Database Managed Instance now brings even more application compatibility by offering a choice of server-level collation to meet the needs of the existing applications that should be migrated to azure cloud. This eliminates need for changes in the existing applications that are not using SQL Server instances with default server-level collation when they are migrated to Azure cloud
