Azure Cosmos DB Change Feed support

Now available This is now generally available.

Date Updated: Wednesday, May 31, 2017

With Change Feed support, Cosmos DB will provide a sorted list of documents, in the order in which they were modified, within a Cosmos DB collection. Use this feed to listen for modifications to data within the collection and to perform actions such as providing a trigger call to an API when a document is inserted or modified, performing real-time processing on updates, and syncing data with a cache, search engine, or data warehouse.

Change Feed in Cosmos DB will be enabled by default for all accounts, and it won't incur any additional costs on your account. You'll be able to use your provisioned throughput in your write region or any read region to read from the feed, just like any other operation from Cosmos DB.
