Deploy HDInsight cluster with existing linked storage

This template allows you to create an Hadoop cluster in HDInsight and the dependent default storage account. The tempalte also links an existing storage account. The linked storage account usually contains the business data.

This Azure Resource Manager template was created by a member of the community and not by Microsoft. Parameters

Parameter Name Description
clusterName The name of the HDInsight cluster to create.
clusterType The type of the HDInsight cluster to create.
clusterVersion The type of the HDInsight cluster to create.
clusterLoginUserName These credentials can be used to submit jobs to the cluster and to log into cluster dashboards.
clusterLoginPassword The password must be at least 10 characters in length and must contain at least one digit, one non-alphanumeric character, and one upper or lower case letter.
sshUserName These credentials can be used to remotely access the cluster.
sshPassword The password must be at least 10 characters in length and must contain at least one digit, one non-alphanumeric character, and one upper or lower case letter.
linkedStorageAccountName The short name of the default Azure storage account name. This account needs to be secure transfer enabled.
linkedStorageAccountKey The key of the default storage account.
