Can I exclude computers from sending data to Log Analytics?
Yes. If you’re using the Azure Log Analytics agent, then you can stop it from communicating to the service by going to the Control Panel, and under Microsoft Monitoring Agent clearing Connect to Azure Log Analytics.
If you’re using Log Analytics through Operations Manager, then you can specify which agents are on agents where data is collected from and sent to Log Analytics, which is controlled in your Operations Manager console.

You get easy access to Azure Support by going online to the Azure portal and submitting a support request. Access to subscription management and billing support is included with your Microsoft Azure subscription, and technical support is provided through one of the Azure Support Plans. For step-by-step guidance for the Azure portal, see How to create an Azure support request. Alternatively, you can create and manage your support tickets programmatically using the Azure Support ticket REST API.
We have designed our Azure Support plans to meet different business needs. Paid support plans provide access to Technical Support for break-fix issues on a 24x7 basis. Higher tiers of support plans offer faster initial response times and access to Advisory support, Configuration Optimization Reviews, and other benefits. More information about the existing support plans can be found at the Azure Support Plans page.

The new pricing model for Azure Backup has two components:
- Protected instances: This is the primary billing unit for Azure Backup. Customers pay for the number of instances that are protected with the Azure backup service
- Storage: Customers can choose between Locally Redundant Storage (LRS) or Geo-Redundant Storage (GRS) for their backup vault. The net price for Storage depends on the amount of data stored with the service. These two components appear as separate line items on the monthly Azure bill.
A temporary disk is storage that’s attached directly to the deployed VM. Data on a temporary disk is lost once the VM is shut down. If you need persistent storage, there are a number of types and sizes of persistent data disks available that are charged separately. Please see storage pricing for information. For persistent VM storage, we recommend that you use Managed Disks to take advantage of better management features, scalability, availability, and security.
