Do I pay anything for the Azure Government trial?
No. Starting is free, plus you get a $500 credit per month to spend within 90 days. You won’t be charged—even if you start using services—until you choose to upgrade.
How do I sign up?
Visit the sign-up page to request a trial subscription. After we verify your eligibility as a US federal, state, local, or tribal entity or a partner, we’ll contact you by email within two business days regarding next steps.
What happens if I run out of credit?
During your 90-day trial, each $500 credit is valid for 30 days. If you reach your credit limit, you may use a credit card to add additional services. Your next $500 credit will be available at the start of the next 30-day period. If you upgrade to a paid subscription during your free trial, you’ll still receive a $500 credit per month for your first 90 days using Azure Government.
What happens after 90 days?
To continue using Azure Government after your trial period, contact a Cloud Solution Provider, buy an Enterprise Agreement, or choose a Pay-As-You-Go subscription.
