Here are a few of the latest improvements and updates based on your feedback:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><a href=\"#EAbilling\">Manage your Enterprise Agreement billing account in the Azure portal<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><a href=\"#CostManagementLabs\">What&#8217;s new in Cost Management Labs<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><a href=\"#SaveMoney\">New ways to save money with Azure<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><a href=\"#DocUpdates\">Documentation updates<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><a href=\"#Join\">Join the Azure Cost Management and Billing team<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let&#8217;s dig into the details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"manage-your-enterprise-agreement-billing-account-in-the-azure-portal\">Manage your Enterprise Agreement billing account in the Azure portal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you manage an Enterprise Agreement (EA) billing account, you\u2019re familiar with the EA portal where you can manage the account hierarchy, view credit balance, and view cost for each department, account, and subscription. This has been a great foundation, but did you know there are even more tools that can help you better monitor, manage, and optimize costs within the Azure portal?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When it comes to managing your billing account (enrollment), you have all the same EA tools available from Cost Management and Billing in the Azure portal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Seamlessly create and manage the enrollment hierarchy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Manage access to departments, accounts, and subscriptions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">View properties and manage policies, like the ability to view charges and purchase reservations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">View notification contacts for enrollment emails.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking beyond account management, you\u2019ll start to see new tools to help you monitor and manage costs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">View and track Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) balance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">View and download invoices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">View and download consolidated usage and charges, including options for amortized reservation charges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Analyze and drill into your costs in the portal or schedule automated exports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Split shared costs to drive more visibility and accountability throughout the organization with cost allocation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Configure budgets to get alerted before costs exceed predefined thresholds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With these updates, managing your EA billing account from the Azure portal is now generally available for direct EA enrollments. <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/azure\/cost-management-billing\/manage\/direct-ea-administration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Learn more<\/a> and let us know what you\u2019d like to see next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-s-new-in-cost-management-labs\">What&#8217;s new in Cost Management Labs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With <a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/blog\/azure-cost-management-updates-july-2019?WT.mc_id=acm-micflan#labs\">Cost Management Labs<\/a>, you get a sneak peek at what&#8217;s coming in Azure Cost Management and can engage directly with us to share feedback and help us better understand how you use the service, so we can deliver more tuned and optimized experiences. Here are a few features you can see in Cost Management Labs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Update: Total cost in the cost analysis preview<\/strong>\u2014<em>now available in the public portal<\/em><br>See your total cost at the top of the <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/costanalysis\/services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cost analysis preview<\/a>. You can opt in using Try Preview or by using the cost analysis preview in <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/costanalysis\/preview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cost Management Labs<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>New: Access preview views from classic cost analysis<\/strong><br>Get one-click access to the <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/costanalysis\/services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new preview views<\/a> from classic cost analysis in the View menu. You can see this in classic cost analysis in <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/costanalysis\/preview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cost Management Labs<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>New: Anomaly detection alerts<\/strong><br>Subscribe to automatic email alerts when a new anomaly has been detected. <a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/blog\/azure-cost-management-and-billing-updates-february-2022\/#anomalydetection\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anomaly detection<\/a> is only available for subscriptions in the cost analysis preview. You can opt into this preview using Try Preview and then configure anomaly alerts from the Alerts page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Grouping SQL databases and elastic pools<\/strong><br>Get an at-a-glance view of your total SQL costs by grouping SQL databases and elastic pools under their parent server in the <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/costanalysis\/services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cost analysis preview<\/a>. You can opt in using Try Preview.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Average cost in the cost analysis preview<\/strong><br>See your average daily cost at the top of the <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/costanalysis\/services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cost analysis preview<\/a>. You can opt in using Try Preview.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Charts in the cost analysis preview<\/strong><br>View your daily or monthly cost over time in the <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/costanalysis\/services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cost analysis preview<\/a>. You can opt in using Try Preview.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Budgets in the cost analysis preview<\/strong><br>Quickly create and edit budgets directly from the cost <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/costanalysis\/services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">analysis preview<\/a>. If you don\u2019t have a budget yet, you\u2019ll see a suggested budget based on your forecast. You can opt in using Try Preview.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>View cost for your resources<\/strong><br>The cost for your resources is one click away from the resource overview in the <a href=\"https:\/\/preview.portal.azure.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">preview portal<\/a>. Just click View cost to quickly jump to the cost of that particular resource.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Change scope from the menu<\/strong><br>Change scope from the menu for quicker navigation. You can opt in using Try Preview.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, that&#8217;s not all.
