Luckily, you can easily set up predefined alerts as you approach your budget in Azure Cost Management and Billing. Now you can define alerts based on your forecasted costs, putting even more power in your hands to get notified and take action on overages before they happen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Learn more about <a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/blog\/prevent-exceeding-azure-budget-with-forecasted-cost-alerts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">forecasted cost alerts<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"new-cost-view-for-subscriptions\">New cost view for subscriptions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In November, you saw <a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/blog\/azure-cost-management-billing-updates-november-2020\/#views\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new cost views optimized for resources and reservations<\/a>. In January, you saw a <a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/blog\/azure-cost-management-and-billing-updates-january-2021\/#views\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new Resource groups view<\/a>. This month, you can add a view optimized for breaking down cost at a higher level in the new <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/costanalysis\/subscriptions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Subscriptions view<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new Subscriptions view shows your cost broken down by subscription with an option to view the resource groups with charges nested under each. As with the other views in the cost analysis preview, this is an early peek at what&#8217;s coming. Here are a few features you can see in Cost Management Labs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>New: Create up to 100 views per scope<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Now available in the public portal<\/em><br>You already know you can create and save customized views within cost analysis. Now you can create up to 100 private and 100 shared views per scope in cost analysis, giving you even more flexibility to build out the views you need to analyze your costs. \u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>View cost for your resources<\/strong><br>Cost for your resources is one click away from the resource overview in the <a href=\"https:\/\/preview.portal.azure.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">preview portal<\/a>. Just click <strong>View cost<\/strong> to quickly jump to the cost of that particular resource. \u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Remember last-used scope<\/strong><br>Azure Cost Management now remembers the last scope you used, making it easier than ever to pick up where you left off. We&#8217;re still working on these.
