The API provided US dollar (USD) pricing broken down to the individual meter level. Now you can request prices in any supported currency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Learn more about the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/rest\/api\/cost-management\/retail-prices\/azure-retail-prices?WT.mc_id=acm-micflan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Retail Prices API<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"new-date-picker-in-the-cost-analysis-preview\">New date picker in the cost analysis preview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Understanding your cost patterns over time and investigating specific charges often requires drilling into and selecting specific dates. You&#8217;ve always been able to select from one day up to one year in cost analysis, but you&#8217;ve told us that selecting those dates isn&#8217;t as easy as it could be. As we started building out a new platform for analytics and insights, we took this feedback to heart and completely redesigned the date selection. What you see today is an early peek at that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This month, you&#8217;ll find a new option to select a custom date range in the cost analysis preview. You can pick a single month, a range of months, or start and end dates for a range of days, making it easier than ever to fine-tune your reporting to the dates you need.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/en-us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/32bde7e9-9671-4b37-82b7-fda1c7cfb748.gif\" alt=\"New custom date picker in the cost analysis preview allows selecting a single month, multiple months, or start and end dates.\" title=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, this is just one of the changes you&#8217;ll find in the cost analysis preview this month. Here are a few features you can see in Cost Management Labs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Updated: New cost analysis views for resources and reservations<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Now available in the public portal<\/em><br>Introducing new, faster cost views that break costs down by resource, resource group, subscription, and reservation with additional insights into your top cost drivers and an improved date picker and download experience. We&#8217;re still working on these. <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/costmgmt\/previews\/cav3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Share feedback about this preview<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>New: Improved custom date selection in the cost analysis preview<\/strong><br>Select one month, a range of months, or start and end dates for a range of days in the cost analysis preview. We&#8217;re still working on this. <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/costmgmt\/previews\/cav3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Share feedback about this preview<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Create up to 100 views per scope<\/strong><br>You already know you can create and save customized views within cost analysis. Now you can create up to 100 private and 100 shared views per scope in cost analysis, giving you even more flexibility to build out the views you need to analyze your costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>View cost for your resources<\/strong><br>Cost for your resources is one click away from the resource overview in the <a href=\"https:\/\/preview.portal.azure.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">preview portal<\/a>. Just click <strong>View cost<\/strong> to quickly jump to the cost of that particular resource.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Remember last-used scope<\/strong><br>Azure Cost Management now remembers the last scope you used, making it easier than ever to pick up where you left off.
