Azure Monitor for Containers with Prometheus support for AKS engines is now in preview
Prometheus integration with Azure Monitor for containers brings together the best of two worlds. Typically, to use Prometheus you need to set up and manage a Prometheus server with a database. With the Azure Monitor integration, no Prometheus server is needed—simply expose the Prometheus endpoint through your exporters or pods (application), and the containerized agent for Azure Monitor for containers can scrape the metrics for you. A seamless onboarding experience to collect Prometheus metrics with Azure Monitor is provided.

Cognitive Services—Azure Active Directory authentication and custom subdomains are now in preview
Target availability: Q4 2019
Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) authentication allows you to authenticate to Cognitive Services using Azure AD or user principals. This capability provides greater flexibility for managing access to Cognitive Services and makes it easier to use existing policies for credential rotation and to enforce custom password standards.
Azure Backup is available in new Azure regions
Azure Backup is now available in West India, UAE Central, UAE North, South Africa North, and South Africa West Azure regions.
Azure Government support is now available for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) in preview
The Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) service is now available for preview in US Gov Virginia.
Azure Site Recovery is now available in new Azure regions
Azure Site Recovery is now available in West India, UAE Central, UAE North, South Africa North and South Africa West Azure regions.
Azure Geo and Zone Redundant Storage in public preview
Azure Geo and Zone Redundant Storage (GZRS) helps customers achieve higher data resiliency by Synchronously writing three replicas of your data across multiple Availability Zones and Asynchronously replicating the data to another region within the same geo into a single zone (like LRS today) protecting from a regional outage.
Audit logging in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is now generally available.
Use audit logging to investigate suspicious API requests, collect statistics or create monitoring alerts for unwanted API calls.
M-series virtual machines (VMs) are now generally available in the Brazil South Region
Azure M-series VMs are now available in the Brazil South region. M-series VMs offer configurations with memory from 192 GB to 3.8 TiB (4 TB) RAM and are certified for SAP HANA.
Azure NetApp Files is now available in three new regions
Azure NetApp Files is now available in three new regions: Central US, Australia East and South East Asia.

DevTest Labs now enables you to create virtual machines from a previous version within a shared image gallery.
Azure Cosmos DB Python SDK Version 4 is now in preview
Version 4 of the Azure Cosmos DB Python SDK is now available and includes usability updates to the object model for a better developer experience as well as the ability to use partition keys to scale non-partitioned containers.
Azure Cache for Redis 4.0 upgrade is now generally available
Redis version 4.0 will soon be rolled out to all Azure Cache for Redis instances. The update will be automatic and should not disrupt your cache’s availability.

Azure Databricks Unit (DBU) pre-purchase plan is now available, helping to make Azure the most cost-effective cloud for your workloads.
Azure Files Active Directory (Azure AD) authentication with Azure AD domain services is now generally available
Azure Files offers fully managed file shares in the cloud that are accessible via the industry standard SMB protocol. Integration with Azure AD enables SMB access to Azure file shares using Azure AD credentials from Azure AD domain services domain joined Windows VMs.
Media Services is now available in both South Africa regions
Media Services is now available in South Africa North and South Africa West regions
New Tools are now available in Azure Cloud Shell
