Azure Container Instances - BC with SQL Server and IIS

Deploy a single Windows container with a fully featured self-contained Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment on Azure Container Instances.

This Azure Resource Manager (ARM) template was created by a member of the community and not by Microsoft. Each ARM template is licensed to you under a licence agreement by its owner, not Microsoft. Microsoft is not responsible for ARM templates provided and licensed by community members and does not screen for security, compatibility or performance. Community ARM templates are not supported under any Microsoft support programme or service and are made available AS IS without warranty of any kind.

Parameters

Parameter Name Description
contGroupName Name for the container group
dnsPrefix The DNS label for the public IP address. It must be lowercase. It should match the following regular expression, or it will raise an error: ^[a-z][a-z0-9-]{1,61}[a-z0-9]$
letsEncryptMail The eMail address to be used when requesting a Let's Encrypt certificate
bcRelease Dynamics 365 Business Central Generic image (10.0.19041.985 is the version of Windows Server). See https://mcr.microsoft.com/v2/businesscentral/tags/list
bcArtifactUrl Dynamics 365 Business Central artifact URL. See https://freddysblog.com/2020/06/25/working-with-artifacts/ to understand how to find the right one.
username Username for your BC super user
password Password for your BC super user and your sa user on the database
cpuCores The number of CPU cores to allocate to the container
memoryInGb The amount of memory to allocate to the container in gigabytes. Provide a minimum of 3 as he container will include SQL Server and BCST
customNavSettings Custom settings for the BCST
customWebSettings Custom settings for the Web Client
acceptEula Change to 'Y' to accept the end user license agreement available at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=861843. This is necessary to successfully run the container
azurecontainerSuffix Please select the Azure container URL suffix for your current region. For the standard Azure cloud, this is azurecontainer.io
location Default location for all resources.
_artifactsLocation The base URI where artifacts required by this template are located including a trailing '/'
_artifactsLocationSasToken The sasToken required to access _artifactsLocation. When the template is deployed using the accompanying scripts, a sasToken will be automatically generated. Use the defaultValue if the staging location is not secured.
