High IOPS 32 Data Disk storage pool Standard D14 VM

This template creates a Standard D14 VM with 32 data disks attached. Using DSC they are automatically striped per best practices to get maximum IOPS and formatted into a single volume.

Parameter Name Description
location Location for all resources
adminUsername The username of the initial account to be created
adminPassword The password of the initial account to be created
sizeOfEachDataDiskInGB The size of the datadisks to be striped. The total capacity will be this size multiplied by the number of data disks you specify.
numberOfDisks The number of data disks to include in the storage pool.
dnsName DNS name for the Public IP
vmSize VM Size, the list of sizes here all support premium and standard storage up to 32 data disks.
storageType Storage SKU type
_artifactsLocation The base URI where artifacts required by this template are located. When the template is deployed using the accompanying scripts, a private location in the subscription will be used and this value will be automatically generated.
_artifactsLocationSasToken The sasToken required to access _artifactsLocation. When the template is deployed using the accompanying scripts, a sasToken will be automatically generated.
