This template allows you to install Spinnaker on VM or AKS. Specifically, as for the VM scenario you can deploy and configure a DevOps pipeline from an Aptly repository to a VM Scale Set in Azure.
This Azure Resource Manager (ARM) template was created by a member of the community and not by Microsoft. Each ARM template is licensed to you under a licence agreement by its owner, not Microsoft. Microsoft is not responsible for ARM templates provided and licensed by community members and does not screen for security, compatibility or performance. Parameter Name | Description |

devopsDnsPrefix | Unique DNS Name for the Public IP used to access the combined Jenkins and Spinnaker Virtual Machine. |
adminUsername | Username for the DevOps Virtual Machine, the Jenkins instance, and the VM Scale Sets deployed by Spinnaker. |
authenticationType | Type of authentication to use on the Virtual Machine. SSH key is recommended. |
sshPublicKey | Configure the linux machine with the SSH public key string. Your key should include three parts, for example'ssh-rsa AAAAB...snip...UcyupgH azureuser@linuxvm' |
adminPassword | Password for the Virtual Machine or the Jenkins instance. |
servicePrincipalAppId | Service Principal App ID (also called Client ID) that has contributor rights to the subscription used for this deployment. It is used by Spinnaker to dynamically manage resources. |
servicePrincipalAppKey | Service Principal App Key (also called Client Secret) that has contributor rights to the subscription used for this deployment. It is used by Spinnaker to dynamically manage resources. |
location | Location for all resources. |
