Does Azure support IPv6?

The Internet has expanded beyond the capacity of its early underpinning—the IPv4 protocol. Many new mobile networks and modern technologies, such as Internet of Things, depend on the virtually unlimited address capacity offered by IPv6. A growing list of governments require IPv6 client support for the services they buy and build. Now your Azure hosted services on Azure Virtual Machines can reach these new customers with Azure IPv6-load-balanced, dual-stack (IPv4+IPv6), internet connectivity for Azure Virtual Machines. Native IPv6 connectivity (TCP, UDP, HTTP(S)) all the way to the virtual machine enables a broad range of service architectures. IPv6 for Azure Virtual Machines is available now in most Azure regions.
