FAQ

  • You pay for the number of Monthly Active Users (MAUs) and pricing is based on number of MAUs per calendar month. We define a MAU as a customer’s end user who uses the app at least once in the past 30 calendar days on a single device (if an Active User uses the app on their cellphone and tablet, this counts as 2 MAUs).

For example, if you have 500K MAUs in a calendar month your total charge will be:

    100K * $- + 400K * $- = $- per month

MAUs are calculated on a UTC calendar month basis. Therefore, on the first of every calendar month, the Mobile Engagement platform will reset the number of active users to zero. Of course, your billing cycle may not be in alignment with the calendar, but the platform will account for this when preparing your bill.

  • MAUs are calculated on a UTC calendar month basis. On the first of every calendar month, the Mobile Engagement platform will reset the number of active users to zero. If your billing cycle does not align with the calendar, your total MAUs for billing purposes will be a combined number of two partial months.

    For example:

    • Your billing cycles run from Jan 15 – Feb 14 & Feb 15 – March 14
    • You begin using the service for the first time on Jan 16
    • On Jan 31, you have a total of 10K MAUs
    • On Feb 1, number of MAUs is reset to zero
    • On Feb 14, you have a total of 20K MAUs
    • The number of MAUs used to calculate your Feb 14 bill is 10K + 20K = 30K
    • On Feb 28 you have a total of 30K MAUs (10K more than on Feb 14)
    • On Mar 1, number of MAUs is reset to zero again
    • On Mar 14, you have a total of 40K MAUs
    • The number of MAUs used to calculate your Mar 14 bill is 10K + 40K = 50K
