Azure Red Hat OpenShift on OpenShift 4 now available
Azure Red Hat OpenShift on OpenShift 4 is now generally available.
New DCsv2-series virtual machines are now available
Azure confidential computing enables customers to develop applications that protect data while in use, meaning that it protects data while its been processed in the CPU. DCsv2-Series VMs use Intel SGX technology to protect data while in use, and they are now generally available.
Azure Functions – Java 8 support on Linux is now in preview
Azure Functions support for Java on Linux is now in preview. This enables deploying Java Function Apps as containers to the Functions dedicated/premium plan and Kubernetes.
Query acceleration for Azure Data Lake Storage now in preview
Azure Date Lake Storage (ADLS) now supports Query acceleration, which optimises cost and performance for your big data applications.

Custom views with View Designer are migrating to Azure Monitor workbooks

Azure Monitor is making changes to the custom views experience in Log Analytics Workspaces. From March 2020, we will be replacing the View Designer tool with Azure Monitor Workbooks. Workbooks provide a flexible canvas for data analysis and the creation of rich visual reports within the Azure portal. They allow you to tap in to multiple data sources from across Azure and combine them into unified interactive experiences.
Identity recommendations now included in Azure Security Center free tier
Security recommendations for identity and access on the Azure Security Center free tier are now generally available. This is part of the effort to make the cloud security posture management (CSPM) features completely free. Until now, these recommendations were only available on the standard pricing tier.
Azure HPC Cache – Express Snapshots is now available
Azure HPC Cache recent updates include Express Snapshots, MTU setting support, expansion to South Central US and more.
Azure Sphere 20.04 update 1 is now available for compatibility testing
Azure Sphere 20.04 update 1 will replace Azure Sphere 20.04 for compatibility testing in the evaluation feed. This update fixes a bug that was reported by customers during the initial retail evaluation period.
Azure Migrate is now available in Azure Government
All Azure Migrate features, including agentless discovery and assessment, application inventory and migration, are now available in Azure Government.

Azure Analysis Services – Improved query replica synchronisation now available
Improved query replica synchronisation in Azure Analysis Services is now generally available. Analysis Services features improved query-replica synchronisation in scale-out environments with client queries distributed across one or more query replicas, reducing response times for high concurrency workloads.
Azure Analysis Services – Query interleaving is now generally available
Query interleaving in Azure Analysis Services is now generally available. Query interleaving helps to improve the user experience in high-concurrency scenarios where a lot of queries are submitted close to each other.
Azure SQL Database Hyperscale – Change tracking support now available
Azure SQL Database Hyperscale now fully supports change tracking, a lightweight solution that provides an efficient change tracking mechanism for applications. Use Azure SQL engine’s native ability to keep track of which rows have been inserted, updated or deleted on behalf of the user.
SQL Server 2019 IaaS images with Linux distribution support now available
Azure Marketplace pay-as-you-go images for SQL Server 2019 on RHEL 8.0, Ubuntu 18.04 and SLES 12 SP5 are now generally available.
