Azure Service Fabric 6.5 release is now available
Service Fabric 6.5 release version has been rolled out to the various Azure regions, along with tooling and SDK updates. The release contains many new features, bug fixes, supportability, reliability and performance improvements. For the full list of all the changes, refer to the release notes.
Spatial Operations for Azure Maps are now generally available
Spatial Operations provides applications with enhanced location intelligence with a library of common geospatial mathematical calculations, (notably within the IoT space), including services such as geofencing, closest point and point in polygon.
High-performance Computing Virtual Machines are now available in West US 2, East US
HC-series Virtual Machines, designed to provide supercomputer-grade performance and scalability with the best price-performance on the public cloud, are now generally available in West US 2 and East US.
Cognitive Services Text Analytics’ Named Entity Recognition is now available
We are happy to announce the general availability of Named Entity Recognition supporting English and Spanish languages as part of Azure Cognitive Services Text Analytics API.
