Create new Ubuntu VM pre-populated with Puppet Agent

This template creates a Ubuntu VM and installs the Puppet Agent into it using the CustomScript extension.

Parameters

Parameter Name Description
vmSize Size of vm, e.g: Standard_D2
username Username for the Virtual Machine, e.g: joetheadmin.
newStorageAccountName Unique DNS prefix for the Storage Account where the Virtual Machine's disks will be placed.
dnsNameForPublicIP Unique DNS Name for the Public IP used to access the Virtual Machine.
pupmstrFQDN FQDN of your PE box, e.g: pupmstr.cloudapp.net
pupmstrIP IP of your PE box, e.g: 192.168.1.1
pupmstrInternalFQDN Internal FQDN of your PE box, e.g: pupmstr.pupmstr.d6.internal.cloudapp.net. Get it from node requests page in PE Console.
location Location for all resources.
authenticationType Type of authentication to use on the Virtual Machine. SSH key is recommended.
adminPasswordOrKey SSH Key or password for the Virtual Machine. SSH key is recommended.
