Enable NSG Flow Logs

This template create an NSG Flow Logs resource

Parameter Name Description
networkWatcherName Name of the Network Watcher attached to your subscription. Format: NetworkWatcher_<region_name>
flowLogName Name of your Flow log resource
location Region where you resources are located
existingNSG Resource ID of the target NSG
retentionDays Retention period in days. Default is zero which stands for permanent retention. Can be any Integer from 0 to 365
flowLogsVersion FlowLogs Version. Correct values are 1 or 2 (default)
storageAccountType Storage Account type

Use the template


New-AzResourceGroup -Name <resource-group-name> -Location <resource-group-location> #use this command when you need to create a new resource group for your deployment
New-AzResourceGroupDeployment -ResourceGroupName <resource-group-name> -TemplateUri
