Install a Minecraft Server on an Ubuntu VM.

This template deploys and sets up a customized Minecraft server on an Ubuntu Virtual Machine.

Parameters

Parameter Name Description
minecraftUser Your Minecraft user name
adminUsername Admin user name you will use to log on to the Virtual Machine.
adminPassword Password for the admin user name.
dnsNameForPublicIP Put a unique DNS Name for the Public IP used to access the Virtual Machine.
virtualMachineSize This is the Azure Virtual Machine size, and will affect the cost. If you don't know, just leave the default value.
difficulty 0 - Peaceful, 1 - Easy, 2 - Normal, 3 - Hard
level-name Name of your world
gamemode 0 - Survival, 1 - Creative, 2 - Adventure, 3 - Spectator
white-list Only ops and whitelisted players can connect
enable-command-block enable command blocks
spawn-monsters Enables monster spawning
generate-structures Generates villages etc.
level-seed Add a seed for your world
