Deploy a VM into an Availability Zone

This template allows you to deploy a simple VM (Windows or Ubuntu), using the latest patched version. This will deploy a A2_v2 size VM in the location specified and return the FQDN of the VM.

Parameters

Parameter Name Description
location Location for the VM, only certain regions support zones during preview.
adminUsername Username for the Virtual Machine.
adminPassword Password for the Virtual Machine.
dnsLabelPrefix Unique DNS Name for the Public IP used to access the Virtual Machine.
windowsOrUbuntu Operation System for the Virtual Machine.
