Deploy a Windows Server VM with Visual Studio.

This template deploys a Windows Server VM with Visual Code Studio Community 2019, with a few options for the VM. You can provide the name of VM, the admin username and admin password.

Parameters

Parameter Name Description
vmName The name of you Virtual Machine.
VmSize The size of the VM
adminUsername Username for the Virtual Machine.
adminPassword Password for the Virtual Machine. The password must be at least 12 characters long and have lower case, upper characters, digit and a special character (Regex match)
location Location for all resources.
dnsLabelPrefix Unique DNS Name for the Public IP used to access the Virtual Machine.
sharedResources Specify whether to create a new or existing NSG and vNet.
virtualNetworkName Name of the VNET
subnetName Name of the subnet in the virtual network
networkSecurityGroupName Name of the Network Security Group
