FAQs

  • You pay for the number of Monthly Active Users (MAUs) and pricing is based on the number of MAUs per calendar month. We define a MAU as a customer’s end user who has used the app at least once in the past 30 calendar days on a single device (if an Active User uses the app on their mobile phone and tablet, this counts as 2 MAUs).

For example, if you have 500,000 MAUs in a calendar month, your total charge will be:

    100,000 * $- + 400,000 * $- = $- per month

MAUs are calculated on a UTC calendar month basis. Therefore, on the first day of every calendar month, the Mobile Engagement platform will reset the number of active users to zero. Of course, your billing cycle may not be in alignment with the calendar, but the platform will account for this when preparing your bill.

  • MAUs are calculated on a UTC calendar month basis. On the first day of every calendar month, the Mobile Engagement platform will reset the number of active users to zero. If your billing cycle does not align with the calendar, your total MAUs for billing purposes will be a combined number of two partial months.

    For example:

    • Your billing cycles run from 15 Jan – 14 Feb & 15 Feb – 14 March
    • You begin using the service for the first time on 16 Jan
    • On 31 Jan, you have a total of 10,000 MAUs
    • On 1 Feb, the number of MAUs is reset to zero
    • On 14 Feb, you have a total of 20,000 MAUs
    • The number of MAUs used to calculate your 14 Feb bill is 10,000 + 20,000 = 30,000
    • On 28 Feb, you have a total of 30,000 MAUs (10,000 more than on 14 Feb)
    • On 1 Mar, the number of MAUs is reset to zero again
    • On 14 Mar, you have a total of 40,000 MAUs
    • The number of MAUs used to calculate your 14 Mar bill is 10,000 + 40,000 = 50,000
