Azure Load Testing availability in Fairfax (USGov Virginia)

Azure Load Testing GA in Fairfax cloud - USGov Virginia. US Government customers on the Fairfax cloud can now use Azure Load Testing to simplify their end-to-end load testing process.
Public preview: ExpressRoute Metro for High Resiliency
ExpressRoute lets you extend your on-premises networks into the Microsoft cloud over a private connection with the help of a connectivity provider. With ExpressRoute, you can establish connections to Microsoft cloud services, such as Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.

Azure Sphere version 24.03 and Azure Sphere (Integrated) are now generally available
The Azure Sphere 24.03 release includes Azure Sphere (Integrated) general availability, support for custom certificates to connect to Azure IoT Services, an updated version of cURL for the Azure Sphere OS, security fixes, SDK support for Ubuntu 24.04 pre-release, removal of SDK support for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, and changes to the CMake toolchain.
Azure Front Door (classic) will be retired on 31 March 2027
Target retirement date: March 31, 2027
Migrate to Azure Front Door Standard or Premium by 31 March 2027, when Front Door (classic) will be retired.
General availability: Rate Limiting on ExpressRoute Direct Circuits
Rate Limiting is now generally available over ExpressRoute Direct port circuits, providing enhanced control over bandwidth usage. This Quality of Service (QoS) feature prevents circuits from bursting beyond their configured bandwidth, thereby improving network performance and reliability. Rate Limiting can be enabled for each circuit individually, offering flexibility to prioritize certain circuits. This feature can be activated during or after the creation of the ExpressRoute Direct circuit.
Support for Connector for AWS in Cost Management is ending on 31 March 2025
Target retirement date: April 01, 2025
The Connector for AWS in the Cost Management service will be retired on 31 March 2025. By that date, please consider alternative cost management reporting for AWS available in the market.
Some compliance features in Microsoft Defender for Cloud will be retired on September 30, 2025

Azure Monitor managed service for Prometheus is available in 13 additional Azure regions
Azure Managed Prometheus was announced GA in May 2023 and was available in 26 regions, with this new update Azure Managed Prometheus will be available in 13 additional regions.

Generally Available: Azure Stack HCI latest feature release

Azure Stack HCI is the Microsoft Azure Arc-enabled infrastructure. Now, customers who have an Azure Stack HCI subscription can download the latest feature release for their infrastructure. This new Azure Stack HCI release is the version of the product required to run Azure Virtual Desktop on- prem which is also now in GA and called Azure Virtual Desktop for Azure Stack HCI. This is an exciting development as the public preview of this product is in high demand specifically in Healthcare and Financial Services.
