Organizations will be able to create and optimize intelligence for industrial control systems with Project Bonsai, a machine teaching service from Microsoft. This project, now in public preview, is the first service component of a vision to empower customers to build, operate, and manage autonomous systems. Engineers and developers can also explore Project Moab, a new open-source balancing robot.

Train machine learning models faster with new capabilities in ONNX Runtime

With the preview of training acceleration in ONNX Runtime, Machine Learning engineers can now speed up model training by up to 45%. The training acceleration incorporates innovations from Microsoft Research and is proven across production workloads like Office 365, Bing and Visual Studio. Additionally, there are updates to ONNX Runtime for inferencing with support for a broader range of hardware platforms from Intel, ARM, Xilinx and Rockchip. ONNX Runtime is an open-source project and can be accessed in GitHub.
