New Azure Dav4-series and Eav4-series virtual machines based on the latest AMD EPYC™ 7452 processor are now available in East US, East US2, West US2, Southeast Asia, North and West Europe regions.
We are announcing general availability of HBv2 Virtual Machines for High-Performance Computing. HBv2 VMs are designed to provide supercomputing levels of performance and MPI scalability at on-premises competitive economics.
The new solution for Azure Monitor for VMs will soon be available in all regions. This update will provide richer monitoring functionality and map data sets for Service Map customers. Once it’s available in your region, it’ll be necessary to upgrade to the new solution in order to continue using Azure Monitor for VMs.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) bring-your-own-subscription (BYOS) images, also referred to as RHEL Gold images, are now generally available in Azure with a simple automated sign-up process. This new automated sign-up process provides faster and simpler access to the gold images.

Azure Shared Image Gallery is now generally available in Azure Government and Azure China cloud regions.
Azure Shared Image Gallery now supports specialized images in preview. This feature enables you to create specialized image versions using multiple snapshots (OS disk and data disks).
Generation 2 VMs are now generally available in Azure. New available features include Intel Software Guard Extensions (Intel SGX), support for large VMs (up to 12 TBs), and the ability to provision OS Disks sizes that exceed 2 TBs.
