The Azure IoT Edge release 1.4 is the long term servicing (LTS) release of IoT Edge. The companion release of Azure IoT Edge for Linux on Windows (EFLOW) 1.4 long term servicing will be coming later this fall.

Generally available: Azure IoT Edge 1.3.0 release
The Azure IoT Edge release 1.3 is available with support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and requires that inbound/outbound communication use TLS 1.2 by default.

Generally available: Azure IoT Edge supports Debian Bullseye on ARM32v7
Target availability: Q2 2022
Debian is included in the Tier 1 OS support list for ARM32v7 devices. Official packages for Bullseye on ARM32v7 are now available on packages.microsoft.com.
