SR-IOV availability on NCv3 Virtual Machines SKU
We are announcing enhancements to enable support for all MPI implementations and versions, and RDMA verbs for InfiniBand-equipped virtual machines, beginning with NCv3 coming in early November 2019.
Azure Backup support for large disks up to 32 TB is now generally available
Azure Backup support for larger and more powerful Azure Managed Disks of up to 32 TB is now generally available. No user action is required to get the backups running for the large sized disks, if the virtual machine is already configured with Azure Backup.
Performance-optimized storage configuration for SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines
Self-installations of SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines can now benefit from performance-optimized storage configurations when they register with Resource Provider.
