Windows Azure Traffic Manager is a new feature that allows customers to load balance traffic to multiple hosted services. Developers can choose from three load balancing methods: Performance, Failover, or Round Robin. To learn more about this new feature and how to use it, check out, “ Cloud Cover Episode 46 – Windows Azure Traffic Manager” on Channel 9.  In addition to explaining how this new feature will offer increased application reliability, performance and availability, Wade demonstrates how to configure Traffic Manager policies and test with your own applications.

The Windows Azure Traffic Manager CTP is now available. During the CTP period, Windows Azure Traffic Manager is free of charge, and invitation-only. To request an invitation, please visit the Beta Programs section of the Windows Azure Portal.
