We’re excited to announce today that we will soon be making Zend’s Z-Ray technology for PHP available on Azure App Service.

Azure App Service is a one-of-a kind cloud service that enables developers to build intelligent web and mobile apps for any platform and any device. App Service is an integrated solution that streamlines development, enables easy integration with on-premises and SaaS systems and provides the ability to quickly automate business processes. The App Service team is committed to supporting a multitude of development platforms and languages and we are very happy to have this partnership with Zend help us improve our PHP capabilities.

When our team saw Z-Ray several months ago – it caught our attention. The depth of information combined with the intuitive developer workflow on the other made it a very attractive proposition for our customers Making it available exclusively on Azure App Service (the only cloud service to offer integrated Z-Ray experience) bolsters our efforts to deliver the best user experience to developers of WordPress, Drupal, Magento and other PHP applications. It reiterates our commitment to making Azure App Service is a great platform to develop PHP apps in the cloud as well as other platforms such as .NET, Java, Node.js and Python.

Z-Ray acts as a developer’s cockpit, continuously showing developers the inner workings of their application right inside the browser window, seamlessly integrating into the app web UI. Z-Ray also provides generic PHP information as well as support for many apps and frameworks.

We look forward to working with Zend and beginning to integrate Z-Ray into the App Service experience in the coming months.
