The new Windows Azure Cache is now available in Preview. This managed service provides lightning fast access to data to help you build more scalable and responsive applications.  

Here are the details: 

  • Managed cache: The new managed service offers a dedicated cache for customers that need it.
  • Reduced Cost: The new service offers reduced pricing at nearly every price point. Customers now only pay based upon cache size, not transactions. Pricing details can be found here.
  • Improved Management: Cache provisioning and management through the new Azure Portal. 
  • Works With: Windows Azure Web Sites, Web & Worker Roles, or Virtual Machines.
