Introduction to Webhooks for Azure Alerts

In this video, Azure Monitoring Program Manager Ashwin Kamath introduces the new Webhook option for Azure Alerts, which allows you to set a threshold on Azure metric data and receive alerts on that threshold via a HTTP callback (webhook). He then demonstrates this using the popular incident management tool, PagerDuty. Alerts can be set on any Azure metric to easily be notified when that metric bypasses a threshold--eg. CPU utilization goes above 80%. You can automatically react to these notifications via the data provided in a webhook.
