Azure Quickstart Templates
Deploy Azure resources through the Azure Resource Manager with community contributed templates to get more done. Deploy, learn, fork and contribute back.
What is Azure Resource Manager
Azure Resource Manager allows you to provision your applications using a declarative template. In a single template, you can deploy multiple services along with their dependencies. You use the same template to repeatedly deploy your application during every stage of the application lifecycle.

This template creates 2 new VMs to be AD DCs (primary and backup) for a new Forest and Domain
This template creates 2 VMs in separate Availability Zones to be AD DCs (primary and backup) for a new Forest and Domain
This template provides an example of how to perform analytics on the historic as well as real time streaming data stored in Azure Blob Storage. The data from the event hub is taken by the Azure Stream Analytics Job to perform transformation and the output is stored in Azure Blob Storage and is visualized in PowerBI. The analytics is applied on the historic data stored in Blob storage by Azure Data Analytics and the movement of extracted, transformed and published data and the orchestration is done by Data Factory. The published data is further visualized in PowerBI
Deploys a Virtual Machine to by a Hyper-V Host and all dependent resources including virtual network, public IP address and route tables.
This template deploys a linux VM with a system assigned managed identity that has access to a storage account in a different resource group.
This template allows you to deploy custom images at scale with options to use VM Scale Sets, regular VMs, or regular VMs in an availability set.
This template creates a selfhost integration runtime and registers it on Azure virtual machines
This is useful to the VM's compute to perform some task during deployment that Azure Resource Manager does not provide. The output of that compute (script) can then be leveraged elsewhere in the deployment. This is useful if the compute resource is needed in the deployment (e.g. a jumpbox, DC, etc), a bit wasteful if it is not.
This template deploys a 2 node master/slave MySQL replication cluster on CentOS 6.5 or 6.6
This template deploys a wordpress web site backed by a master/slave MySQL replication cluster
This template deploys a MongoDB Sharding Cluster on CentOS and enables Zabbix monitoring
Enterprises that offer end-user payment transactions have to account for the below considerations: Risk evaluation on business transactions, Infrastructure risk management, Infrastructure configuration management. This Azure Partner QuickStart push to pilot solution launches a business intelligence Hadoop stack demonstrating online transactions risk analysis, provides an automated provisioning, configuration and integration of Datameer and Azure HDInsight, TrendMicro DeepSecurity & Chef Server products ready for staging / preproduction environments.
Deploy a VM Scale Set behind a load balancer/NAT & each VM running Drupal (Apache / PHP). All nodes share the created glusterfs file storage, and MySQL database
This template creates Kafka streaming replication from one zookeeper to one or more brokers each configured with multiple striped data disks. The database servers are deployed into a private subnet with an optional externally accessible jumpbox.
This template creates Spark streaming replication from one master to one or more slaves each configured with multiple striped data disks. The database servers are deployed into a private subnet with an optional externally accessible jumpbox.
This template allows you to deploy an Ubuntu VM with Docker (using the Docker Extension). In addition, the Rancher Server (or agent) will be deployed.
This template deploys an Elasticsearch cluster on Virtual Machines using linked templates. The template provisions 3 dedicated master nodes, with an optional number of client and data nodes, which are placed in separate availability sets and storage accounts. The template also provides the option of deploying a standalone Marvel cluster.
This quick start launches a stack that allows you to Build, Run & Ship Containerized Applications using Docker Enterprise Edition and CloudBees Jenkins. This integrated stack is ready to use pre production environment.
This template creates a Redis cluster on Ubuntu virtual machine images, configures persistence and applies well known optimizations and proven practices
This template deploys Cloudera Director with a MySQL server and a BIND DNS server on a single VM. Cloudera Director is the fastest, easiest way to manage the lifecycle of enterprise Apache Hadoop clusters on Azure. The Director VM includes a template for deploying CDH and Cloudera Manager, enabling you to run high-value big data workloads on Azure.
This template creates a new Active Directory forest, with an optional subdomain. You can choose to have either one or two DCs per domain. The network configuration is highly configurable, making it suitable to fit into an existing environment. The VMs use managed disks and have no dependency on storage accounts. As an operating system you can choose between Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019. This template illustrates the use of nested templates, Powershell DSC, and other advanced concepts.
