Azure Synapse Analytics—Continuous integration and deployment with SSDT is now available

The highest requested feature for Azure Synapse Analytics is now available—SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) Database projects. This release includes support for SSDT with Visual Studio 2019, along with native platform integration with Azure DevOps, providing built-in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) capabilities for enterprise level deployments.
Data engineers and developers can integrate their SSDT database project with Azure Repos where check-ins can be pre-validated using tools such as MSBuild. Set up stable release pipelines without any custom code. Use Azure Pipelines to automatically promote changes to your data warehouse model more safely across development, testing and production environments. These improvements help provide a frictionless development and deployment experience for your analytics platform.
